The Yuri Manin Ring and Its n - Analogue

چکیده
The Manin ring is a family of quadratic algebras describing pointed stable curves of genus zero whose homology gives the solution of the Commutativity Equations. This solution was first observed by the physicist Losev. We show the Manin ring is the Stanley–Reisner ring of the standard triangulation of the n-cube modulo a system of parameters. Thus, the Hilbert series of the Manin ring is given by the Eulerian polynomial. One can also view the Manin ring as the Stanley–Reisner ring of the dual of the permutahedron modulo a system of parameters. Furthermore, we develop a n-analogue of the Manin ring. In this case the signed Manin ring is the Stanley–Reisner ring of the barycentric subdivision of the n-cube (equivalently, the dual of the signed permutahedron) modulo a system of parameters and its Hilbert series is the descent polynomial of augmented signed permutations. © 2001

Moduli Operad over F 1 Yuri
In this paper we answer a question raised in [25], Sec. 4, by showing that the genus zero moduli operad {M0,n+1} can be endowed with natural descent data that allow it to be considered as the lift to SpecZ of an operad over F1. The relevant descent data are based on a notion of constructible sets and constructible functions over F1, which describes suitable differences of torifications with a p...
متن کاملA Generalization of the Capelli Identity
We prove a generalization of the Capelli identity. As an application we obtain an isomorphism of the Bethe subalgebras actions under the (glN , glM ) duality. To Yuri Manin on the occasion of 70-th birthday, with admiration.
متن کاملThe Notion of Dimension in Geometry and Algebra
This talk reviews some mathematical and physical ideas related to the notion of dimension. After a brief historical introduction, various modern constructions from fractal geometry, noncommutative geometry, and theoretical physics are invoked and compared. Glenn Gould disapproved of his own recording of Goldberg variations. “There is a lot of piano playing going on there, and I mean that as the...
متن کاملNumbers as Functions
In this survey I discuss A. Buium’s theory of “differential equations in the p–adic direction” ([Bu05]) and its interrelations with “geometry over fields with one element”, on the background of various approaches to p–adic models in theoretical physics (cf. [VlVoZe94], [ACG13]).
متن کامل$(m,n)$-algebraically compactness and $(m,n)$-pure injectivity
In this paper, we introduce the notion of $(m,n)$-algebraically compact modules as an analogue of algebraically compact modules and then we show that $(m,n)$-algebraically compactness and $(m,n)$-pure injectivity for modules coincide. Moreover, further characterizations of a $(m,n)$-pure injective module over a commutative ring are given.
